Year in Review - Hispanic Heritage Month

This year I was extremely honored to be asked to participate in 2 Hispanic Heritage Art Shows, both at HCC locations.  One took place at HCC Northeast - Northline Art Gallery and the other was HCC Southwest - Auditorium Gallery.

My work was featured during promotion of the show at Northline Art Gallery.  This was the second time I was asked to be part of the Hispanic Heritage Show at this gallery.

It was an honor to be at the opening and talk to all the students in attendance.  I didn't prepare for a Q & A, but I was definitely ready to talk about the inspiration behind my work.

While the show at Northline Art Gallery was closing, another reception was underway.  The President of HCC Southwest personally invited me to be the Hispanic Heritage Artist of the Month.  It came as a surprise and as an honor.
